The Summer term starts and one of the pieces we have prepared for our group lessons is Blackberry Blossom, a traditional American piece in bluegrass style. It's been featured as an ABRSM Grade 3 exam piece, so we have quite a few students learning it for their exam too. As always, it's been arranged for mixed-abilty Violin Ensemble so it can be played by beginners and more advanced students all together:

- Violin 1: Main tune (based on the ABRSM Grade 3 piece without the double stops)
- Violin 2: simpler verion of the main tune
- Violin 3: accompaniment with only the first finger pattern
- Violin 4: Open strings only
