Over the past two months, Golden — the hit song from the animated film KPop Demon Hunters — has taken the world (and our students) by storm. With its infectious chorus and high-energy sound, it’s become an instant favorite among kids everywhere… so we had to bring it into our lessons!
We’re thrilled to share for free our multi-level violin ensemble arrangement, specially created for young learners and beginners. And let me tell you — we’ve never seen our students more excited to learn a song! The enthusiasm is real, and the results are amazing. The for multi-level parts are:
-Violin 3: Open strings for beginners
-Violin 2: Harmony with simple finger notes
-Violin 1: Melody (with optional chords for guitar or piano accompaniment)
-Violin 1': Melody an octave higher
One of the best things? You can use the original audio or video as a backing track! Our arrangement covers the Chorus and Pre-Chorus sections only — keeping it focused and manageable for young players.
Here’s how we’ve structured the performance:
- Intro + Verse 1: Start in rest position and get ready to play
- Chorus: play!
- Verse 2: Quick rest and ready
- Chorus 2: play again!
It’s been a joy watching our violin ensembles and beginners dive into this piece. They’ve been working on key skills like: Left-hand pizzicato to arco switching, retakes, developing pulse and rhythm playing alongside a backing track or YouTube video, and honestly… they just love it and can’t get enough!
We’re offering this arrangement as a free download — scroll down to preview the sheet music and grab your copy. We hope your students love it as much as ours do!
