We are excited to announce a new arrangement for your Violin and Viola group lessons! This term, we’ll be performing The Blue Danube by J. Strauss II. As always, this piece has been specifically arranged for multi-level ensemble. This allows our beginners to perform alongside more advanced students, ensuring a rich, collaborative experience that is sure to delight parents at the end-of-term concert!
Inspired by TwoSetViolin, we brought some chickens to class last week! Our young learners had the absolute best time playing along—there were laughs all around!
This video is the same length as our arrangement—perfect for beginners to use as a practice backing track.
- Parts 1 & 2: They share the classical melody
- Part 3: Simple finger notes
- Part 4: Only open strings
- Acc.: teachers accompaniment for when not using backing track
It can work for just violin ensemble or only violas but also combined, as they are both in the same key. Free downloads on the following link, previews below:

We hope you guys and your students enjoy this one!
