As Christmas is quickly approaching, we wanted to surprise our students with a new piece for their end of term concert. In the past we had arranged Four Christmas Carols for Violin Ensemble, which includes Jingle Bells, Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithful and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, and now we are adding We Wish You A Merry Christmas. As always, it has been written for flexible and mixed-ability Violin & Viola ensemble -that means it works as a duo, trio, quartet and up to 5 instruments- and it can be played by beginners and more advanced students all together.

  • Part 1': Tune, higher octave
  • Part 1: Tune
  • Part 2: Harmony
  • Part 3: For beginners who can play up to 3 fingers on the D string
  • Part 4: Beginners, only open-strings. Left-hand pizz/arco optional. Also available in simplified notation for younger ones.
  • Part 5: Accompaniment

It can work for just violin ensemble or only violas but also combined, as we have kept it in the same key. Free downloads on the following links, previews below:
